Jon served his local Santa Paula and Fillmore community for more than 50 years as a family practice doctor, emergency room physician, Chief of Staff, a surgeon, anesthesiologist, gynecologist delivering babies to the second generation, and even conducted High School physical exams for local students. Prior to settling in Santa Paula, he served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. At 81, he was “Schrock Strong” until the end, practicing medicine right up until he got sick with COVID-19. He leaves behind a loving family.
