Sylvia Morton

Sylvia was a registrar in Riverside, CA.

"She was always happy. Even during sad times she would always find the silver lining. She was so uplifting."

Sylvia was a proud Native American from the Cahuilla Tribe who always made homemade gifts for others. She took her love of culture and creativity even further by instructing classes for Soboba Tribal TANF, Morongo Tribal TANF, and surrounding Southern California Indian Reservations. Sylvia passed soon after losing her firstborn son Carlos to COVID-19. She leaves behind her husband, four children, 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was 61.
