Working in the mailroom for 22+ years, Rey touched staff across the hospital and developed close relations with many. He was known for being helpful and kind, taking care of his elderly mother who had dementia. He was also known for his infectious smile and day-to-day style, including Converse tennis shoes he wore on Fridays. He was 63.
