Hernando Sumangil

Hernando, who went by Dino, was a phlebotomist in Escondido, CA.

“He was a gentle giant, the biggest man with the softest hands.”

When the pandemic tore through his community, Hernando would often go days without sleeping to make sure his patients were taken care of and his children were supported and loved. Hernando was 50 and leaves behind a son and three daughters.
