Danny said he was “born to be a physician” and dedicated his life to improving the lives of young patients. He co-founded one of the country’s most successful liver transplant programs and was passionate about sports, conservationism, and African mountain gorillas. He was 73 and leaves behind a wife, son, daughter, and a grandson he loved playing ball with.
