If there was one word to describe Jose, it’s unselfish. Born in South LA as one of ten children, he realized early on in life that his true happiness was found in helping others. Serving for over 16 years as a firefighter paramedic, he always aimed to go above and beyond for his patients, co-workers, and family. His favorite saying was “I got you, Buddy,” was always willing to help, and asked nothing in return. He is survived by his wife and three young children.
