Valeria loved her first job as a nursing assistant; so much so that she continued caring for her elderly residents even after several of them became infected with COVID-19. She enjoyed cooking with her grandmother and would often bring her residents homemade ceviche. She was enrolled in classes at a community college in pursuit of her dream to become a nurse. Valeria was 20 and leaves behind a loving family.
